A new brand of maternity- Christine Melissa Photography - Long Island Maternity and Pregnancy Photographer

I recently did an photography exercize showing one of my first maternity sessions vs. a current one. It was a real eye-opener. I'll spare you the before pics. lol.

Every genre of photography follows trends. Maternity photography has been taken a more boudior/fashion turn...in my studio anyway. If I were to write one of those "In vs. Out" lists for maternity sessions it would read:

Last year: Heart hands, ribbons and blocks.

Now: (see below)

Beach | Long Island Family Photographer | Christine Melissa Photography

I've been trying to plan a session with my friend CTJ and her family for the longest time. Between my schedule and 3 teenagers schedule's, it wasn't easy. But we finally got a date down and headed to the beach...on the windiest night ever.

I have a lot in common with this family. Mom's name is Christine. Her daughter's name is Melissa. And her teenagers have a baby sibling. My little brother was born when I was in hight school, so I can totally relate. (he is 16 and quite a bit taller than me now, but always my "little" brother) Oh, and I wore the same shirt as mom to the session, but that's because we went shopping together. How did we do with coordinating outfits for everyone? Pretty good, right?

OK, onto the photos...

Pipsqueak!
